Hearth & Co.
A dining room that books itself.
A neighbourhood restaurant with a seasonal menu and a small room. The site had one job: turn an appetite into a reservation without making anyone phone.

A working miniature of the site.
Switch screens and devices. Every control works — the menu filters, the booking flow steps, the cart holds items. Concept interaction — no booking is made.

A dining experience, reimagined.
Twenty-eight seats, a seasonal board written each week, and a kitchen you can watch from the pass.

What we set out to solve.
Most restaurant websites are a PDF menu, a phone number and a slideshow of food. Guests arrive wanting to answer three questions — what is on, what does it cost, and is there a table on Friday? The concept reorganises the site around those three answers and puts reservation a single tap away from every screen.
- 01
Menu as the homepage
The current menu is the hero. Dishes, price and dietary notes are readable without a download or a pinch-zoom.
- 02
Reservation everywhere
A persistent reservation control appears on every breakpoint, with date, party size and time chosen in a single sheet.
- 03
Seasonal, not static
Menu sections can be swapped by the kitchen without the layout shifting, so the site feels as current as the food.
Warm, low-lit palette
Deep charcoal with a single ember accent mirrors the room itself: dark timber, candlelight, one warm source.
Editorial serif, generous leading
Menus are read like a printed menu — high-contrast serif, generous line height, priced right-aligned in a hairline column.
Photography that sells appetite
Real rooms, real plates, warm light. No logo-embedded-on-a-white-plate stock clichés.
